The Mi Home Security Camera Basic comes with lesser specs when compared to the existing Mi Home Security Camera 360-degree. The new security camera also costs less.

Xiaomi Mi Home Security Camera Basic Features

The Mi Home Security Camera Basic has been launched in India for Rs 1,999. The new Xiaomi product will be available for buying from tomorrow onwards, i.e February 14 on mi.com. Like the 360-degree camera, the new Mi Home Security Camera Basic also comes in white colour so that it can blend easily with the home decor of the user. The last year’s Mi Home Security Camera 360-degree is currently available in India for Rs 2,699.

The Mi Home Security Camera Basic comes with several features and one of the most important of them all is the 1080p picture quality support. Talking about the new product, Xiaomi reveals that the new Home Security Camera Basic comes with full HD 1080p support, ultra-wide 130-degree angle, Talkback feature, AI motion detection, and Infrared night vision. There are other interesting features too, but these are some of the important ones.

The Mi Home Security Camera Basic can record video in 1080p Full HD resolution with a maximum frame rate of up to 20fps. Xiaomi claims that the security camera is very much capable of delivering crystal clear picture quality video. The Mi Home Security Camera Basic comes packed with a 130-degree ultra wide angle lens which the company says is capable of covering almost all corners of the house. The new Mi security camera is smart enough to minimise the blind spots in a room. It also comes with a night vision range of up to 10m.

The Mi Home Security Camera Basic also comes packed with advanced AI motion detection feature and superior algorithms which Xiaomi says is capable of filtering out false alarms. The Security Camera Basic also includes features like intelligent detection function. This feature helps users to get push notifications when there’s some movement. Another interesting feature that the new Mi Home Security Camera Basic comes packed with is Talkback. Xiaomi says that the Talkback feature improves the overall voice calling experience.
