Besides the new paint job and special retail packaging, the specifications of the smartphone are similar to the standard variant. Xiaomi is already selling the Mi 6X in five different colours- Black, Red, Gold, Blue and Rose Gold. As the name itself suggests, the Mi 6X Hatsune Miku variant is a limited edition and will be produced in limited quantities.

The Xiaomi Mi 6X Hatsune Miku Limited Edition comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, carrying a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform and comes in 4GB/6GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The Mi 6X offers a 20MP primary shooter on the rear, which is paired with a 12MP shooter. A 20MP shooter is present on the front side for selfies and video calls.

The Mi 6X lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, and one has to rely on the USB Type-C port for listening audio through a wired headset. The smartphone is backed by a 3010mAh battery, and it boots MIUI 9.5-based Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It’s expected that the Mi 6X will be launched as Mi A2 in international markets with stock Android on board.
