Xiaomi Announces Three Backpacks in India, Prices Start at Rs 899

Xiaomi is doubling down on its attempts to capture the Indian market. Today earlier, Xiaomi announced the launch of new accessories on its official blog. The accessories which Xiaomi plans to launch includes backpacks and they come in three models. Interestingly, it will be exciting to see, how Xiaomi’s entry into the accessories market affects it. But Xiaomi has launched a Business backpack last year, which was well-received by the consumers.

Mi Travel Backpack
As the name suggests, the Mi Travel Backpack has been manufactured and designed specially to fill up your travelling needs with a backpack. The Rs 1,999 backpack comes with modern mesh styling and a waterproof coating to save your belongings from the rain at odd times. The bag provides two compartments with extra space and can hold a 14-inch laptop. Also, the design of the bag has been made such that it provides cushioning to the traveller. In addition to this, the backpack has a hidden Cart strap, pocket for umbrella or water bottle and comes in two standard colours – Blue and Grey.

Mi City Backpack
The Mi City Backpack differs quite a lot from the Travel Backpack and provides a more premium and sleek design with four compartments. The backpack offers two separate compartments for tablets and laptop and can easily fit a 14-inch laptop. The city backpack provides a more ‘formal and premium’ feel to the user and also has EPS filling to reduce the load on your shoulders while hanging the backpack. This minimalistic and sleek model comes in two colours – Dark Grey and Light Grey and ships at the price point of Rs 1,599.

Mi Casual Backpack
The Mi casual backpack is the most affordable of the three models and can be bought at just Rs 899. This backpack offers the classic checkered pattern design in three colours – Black, Grey and Blue. The Mi casual although comes at a lower price point but certainly offers larger space and can hold 15.6-inch laptops. These bags come equipped with YKK quality zippers and are anti-splash as well as very durable. The Mi Casual Backpack also offers a pocket for umbrella or water bottle.
