WhatsApp has now submitted a new beta update for Android with version number 2.18.32. This update has more evidence that WhatsApp is working on bringing Stickers onto the platform. In this latest update, WhatsApp has integrated 'WhatsApp Stickers Pack Store,' which allows a user to download and remove stickers once the feature goes official. And this store downloads stickers from the Facebook server. This feature is yet to go official for the users, and it might happen in the coming days.
As you can see in the image, there's a '+' symbol in the bottom bar where we currently have the GIF and Emoji tabs. Once WhatsApp enables the Stickers feature, users will get a new 'Stickers' tab placed in between the emoji and GIF tabs. Pressing the '+' will take the user to the new Stickers Store within the application itself.
As we reported earlier, users can download seven download packs when the feature goes official, and the sticker packs are- Unchi, Rollie, Dragon Clan, Meep, Fox, Baach, Zanimaux, and The Defenders. Under the WhatsApp Stickers Store, there will be two tabs again- Featured and My. In the Featured tab, all the stickers available in the store will be visible, while the My tab will have all the downloaded stickers. That's pretty straightforward.
Also, from the My tab, a user can delete a sticker pack. That said, WhatsApp may add some more features when the feature goes official, but for now, this is what we know about the WhatsApp Sticker Store. As always, WhatsApp watcher WABetaInfo shared this news on the web.
Another feature added by WhatsApp in this latest version 2.18.32 update is Enterprise E2E Security Notification. After updating the app to the latest version, whenever a user opens a chat with an Enterprise account, WhatsApp will now show a notification that the chat is end-to-end encrypted and says to read the privacy policy.
This is the same end-to-end encryption WhatsApp implemented to standard and group chats last year.
