Vodafone SuperNet 4G services launched in Ahmedabad and Vadodara

Backing the 4G roar, Vodafone India has launched its SuperNet 4G service in Ahmedabad and Vadodara. The service provider has already launched the 4G services in Surat, Gandhidham, Bhuj, Rajkot, Morbi, Vapi and Daman. Other locations will receive the service soon.

Announcing the launch, Naveen Chopra, Chief Operating Officer, Vodafone India said, “As a steadfast partner to Digital India, we are delighted to launch Vodafone SuperNet 4G in Ahmedabad and Vadodara as part of the second phase of our 4G rollout. Vodafone’s global expertise and experience of launching 4G across 22 countries give us a better understanding of this technology and the needs of the 4G customer. Following overwhelming response received in Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Haryana, UP East and select cities in Gujarat, our customers in Ahmedabad & Vadodara can now enjoy the world’s largest 4G network experience.”

A free and almost instantaneous upgrade to 4G is promised for the customers who avail 4G. There is also the door-step delivery of postpaid 4G SIMs.

In terms of price, the data pack starts from Rs. 8 for 30MB 4G data. There are launch offers announced. One among them is the offer for customers buying greater than 1GB pack. They can avail twice the data allowance in 4G and unlimited local Vodafone to Vodafone Calls.

Vodafone 4G subscribers can get three months access to FREE TV, movies, and videos on Vodafone Play. Vodafone 4G Mi-Fi can support Wi-Fi connectivity for up to 15 devices.

Vodafone subscribers can check if their SIM/Phone is 4G compatible by sending an SMS <4GCHECK> to 199. For door-step delivery of postpaid 4G SIM card, the subscribers can call the call center or send an SMS <4GSIM > to 199.

We will be expanding Vodafone SuperNet 4G services across the entire circle in a phased manner,” said Jayesh Gadia, Business Head–Gujarat, Vodafone India.

Vodafone SuperNet 4G services are built on 1800 MHz band. In Gujarat, Vodafone has a retail presence of 383 Vodafone branded stores.
