Vodafone Idea is in a tough spot right now, but the company continues to provide decent prepaid plans to the subscribers. Reliance Jio removed its entry-level Sachet Packs of Rs 19 and Rs 52 a few weeks, however, Vodafone continues to offer its Unlimited Sachet packs of Rs 9 and Rs 21 to the users. Alongside the Rs 9 and Rs 21 Unlimited Sachet packs, Vodafone also has a Rs 59 data sachet pack as well that offers 1GB data per day for seven days. The Rs 9 and Rs 21 sachet packs come with voice calling, data and SMS benefits for a period of up to two days. These Unlimited Sachet packs from Vodafone will be handy for the users who travel a lot.

Vodafone Rs 9 Sachet Pack: What it Offers?

Vodafone has three Sachet Packs on offer right now and the basic one is priced at Rs 9. As for the benefits, it offers unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit, 100 SMSes for one calendar day and 100MB of 4G/3G/2G data which will also be valid for just one day. Considering the price, the benefits are decent and the unlimited voice calling benefit is truly unlimited as there's no FUP limit like BSNL's prepaid plans.

Vodafone Rs 21 Sachet Pack: What it Offers?

Next on the list, we have the Rs 21 Unlimited Sachet pack which ships with unlimited voice calls, 150MB data and 100 SMSes daily for two days. Do make a note that the benefits will be valid until 00:00 hours, irrespective of when you recharge. For example, if you recharge the Rs 21 pack at around 10 PM today, but the benefits will be valid only till 12 AM which is two hours. So before proceeding to the recharge, keep this mind. To make full use of the pack, recharge early in the morning or after 12 AM .

Similar to the Rs 9 Sachet pack, the Rs 21 pack also offers unlimited voice calling and there's no FUP limit. Early in 2019, Vodafone Idea removed the FUP restriction on voice calls. To recall, the merged entity used to cap voice calls at 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.

Vodafone Rs 59 Sachet Pack: What it Offers?

In addition to the two plans mentioned above, Vodafone also has a data-only Sachet pack priced at Rs 59. This sachet pack from Vodafone was introduced very recently and it comes with just data benefit. Vodafone users recharging this Rs 59 Sachet pack will be able to enjoy 1GB data per day for a period of seven days. This data pack will also be useful for users who travel a lot.

Reliance Jio Removes Sachet Packs of Rs 19 and Rs 52

In other news, precisely a month ago, we reported the removal of Reliance Jio's Rs 19 and Rs 52 Sachet packs. For the unaware, Reliance Jio used to offer two entry-level prepaid plans of Rs 19 and Rs 52 with unlimited benefits for one day and seven days respectively. Every Reliance Jio prepaid user will now have to perform a minimum recharge of Rs 98, which offers benefits for 28 days.

Reliance Jio's sachet packs used to offer unlimited voice calls, 150MB data per day and up to 70 SMSes valid for seven days. The Mukesh Ambani-owned telco removed these sachet packs as they are not very useful to the users after the introduction of IUC Top-Up vouchers. For example, a Jio customer will have to recharge Rs 19 and Rs 10 IUC Top-Up voucher to make voice calls to non-Jio networks and it doesn't make any sense which is the reason behind the removal of both the plans.

Vodafone Idea does not have any IUC Top-Up plans like Reliance Jio, so it continues to offer the Unlimited Sachet packs starting at Rs 9.
