Vodafone Rs 30 Prepaid Recharge Offers Full Talk Time and 28 Days Service Validity

Telecom operator Vodafone has been working hard to minimise the subscriber loss. The UK-based telco re-introduced the Rs 20 talk time prepaid plan offering 28 days service validity in select circles a few months ago. Now, we have observed that the company has come up with Rs 30 prepaid recharge offering full talk time benefit and service validity. After the introduction of Rs 20 talk time plan, Vodafone officials confirmed that it's looking to provide customers with various affordable recharges so that they can keep their account active. It also confirmed that the Rs 20 talk time plan will not be marketed heavily because every prepaid customer will opt for it instead of the Rs 35 All Rounder plan which is now popular among the basic Vodafone prepaid users. Similar to the Rs 20 talk time plan, Vodafone introduced the Rs 30 talk time plan in only select circles for now, but it may extend the plan's availability to other circles very soon.

Vodafone Rs 30 Full Talk Time Recharge Extends Service Validity by 28 Days

Aforementioned, Vodafone's Rs 30 talk time plan is available only in select circles at the moment and the circles include Karnataka, Kerala and Mumbai. Also, in these circles as well, the plan seems to be available only for select customers. As for the benefits, Vodafone is providing Rs 30 talk time and service validity of 28 days with the newly re-introduced Rs 30 talk time plan. The Rs 30 talk time recharge is also available via third-party recharge portals like Paytm, PhonePe and so on, but again, the availability varies with every user.

But honestly, there's no requirement for Vodafone to bring back the Rs 30 talk time plan because customers are already happy with the Rs 35 All Rounder plan. The Rs 35 All Rounder plan from Vodafone ships with Rs 26 talk time, 100MB of 4G/3G/2G data and all the voice calls will be charged at 2.5 paise per second for a period of 28 days. And yes, it also offers service validity extension for 28 days.

Comparing the two plans, we can clearly see the Rs 35 All Rounder plan coming on top as it provides rate cutter and data benefit. Yes, 100MB data benefit may not matter for many, but the Rs 30 talk time plan does not even ship with that. Also, the major disadvantage for the Rs 30 talk time plan is the availability.

Vodafone introduced the Rs 20 talk time offering full talk time benefit and 28 days service validity extension and the plan is aimed at the users who're not even willing to spend Rs 35 every month for keeping their account.

Why Service Validity Matters for Vodafone Prepaid Customers?

Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel introduced minimum recharge scheme for prepaid customers exactly a year ago. As part of the same scheme, if a prepaid customer of the said network does not make a mandatory recharge of a minimum Rs 35 will stop receiving incoming calls after seven days of current plan's expiry. This move made a lot of users leave Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel, but both the companies stuck the same strategy as the Average Revenue per User (ARPU) kept on increasing.

Before the introduction of Rs 20 talk time plan, Vodafone Idea prepaid customers had to shell out Rs 35 every month to extend the account' service validity by 28 days. But now, the company is providing the users with an option to extend service validity even with the Rs 20 talk time plan, but Airtel users still have to make a recharge of Rs 35 to receive incoming voice calls.
