Vodafone India, the country's second largest telecommunications services provider, has announced the launch of a unique ‘Vodafone Referral Program’ for its valued customers in Bihar and Jharkhand circle today. Under this initiative, Vodafone customers in Bihar and Jharkhand can refer any friend or a family member to Vodafone postpaid network, and can enjoy benefits including a chance to win the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy A5 smartphones.
The referral program by Vodafone India is based on the concept of member get member (MGM) aiming to target its own customer base to bring their friends and family members on Vodafone's network. As a part of Vodafone Referral Program, an existing customer has to refer a friend or family member to the Vodafone post-paid network, who subsequently has to port-in to Vodafone within 25 days of the referral.
Once the referred customer successfully ports into postpaid network, Vodafone will send an SMS to the customer saying - get a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy Phone by sending a communiqué on ‘Why Vodafone is your preferred operator’ in a maximum of 50 words as an SMS to 199. Vodafone India will felicitate both, the referred customer and the referrer of top 50 entries with Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy A5 smartphones. The offer to win Samsung Galaxy smartphones is valid till the 30th of November 2015.
Commenting on the launch of Referral Program, Rajshekhar Metgud, Business Head – Bihar and Jharkhand Circle, Vodafone India said “We, at Vodafone, always try to offer maximum value to our customers and they have always been at the heart of everything that we do. This referral program is one such initiative to engage with our existing and prospective customers".
To benefit from this referral program offer, an existing customer has to refer a friend or a family member to Vodafone's postpaid network by messaging MGM to 199 or by logging onto MGM page on vodafone.in.
Besides a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, both the referred customer and the referrer will get a free inter-calling facility between them for a period of one year. Additionally, the postpaid referrer will also be entitled to get Rs. 100 off from the net payables for the next three rental bills, while a prepaid referrer will get free talk-time worth Rs.100 for the next three months.
