Vodafone RED Together Scheme Officially Announced: Promises 20% Discount and 20GB Additional Data

Earlier this month, Vodafone India revised its entire Vodafone RED range of postpaid plans. Alongside the new plans, Vodafone also introduced a new scheme called 'Vodafone RED Together.' However, the operator did not reveal details about the scheme back then. Earlier today, Vodafone announced all the details about Vodafone RED Together scheme, and it's almost identical to Airtel Family scheme.

Firstly, Vodafone RED Together scheme is applicable to all the Vodafone RED postpaid plans. For the unaware, Vodafone RED postpaid plans start at Rs 499 and go all the way up to Rs 2,999 for the maximum plan. If a customer joins Vodafone RED Together scheme, Vodafone will offer them up to 20% discount.

For example, you're a Vodafone RED postpaid user and on the RED 499 postpaid plan. So, if you add two customers, Vodafone will offer 10% discount; if you added three customers, Vodafone is offering 15%, and lastly, if you added four and above family members, Vodafone will offer a discount of 20%.

Also, the company is offering guaranteed extra data up to 20GB, which is also offered based on how many members you add to your Vodafone account. "Moreover, under Red Together, each consumer continue to enjoy the amazing benefits of their respective RED postpaid plan," says Vodafone.

In addition to the Vodafone Red Together, the new Vodafone RED postpaid plans guarantee:

1) All the Vodafone RED postpaid plans will offer unlimited national roaming calls, meaning customers will never be charged for a call made from anywhere in India to anywhere in India.

2) Also, under the newly introduced scheme, Vodafone RED customers should not be bothered about wasting the unused data as the company introduced Data Roll Over scheme, which lets them carry forward unused data up to 200GB.

3) Customers can also enjoy the best entertainment benefits with the gift of Netflix, Vodafone Play, and MAGZTER subscription up to 12 months

4) Lastly, Vodafone is protecting consumer's smartphones with RED Shield, which is a handset protection feature that protects handsets from theft and damage. Vodafone introduced this feature to compete with Airtel Secure.

Speaking about the launch of RED TOGETHER, Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director – Consumer Business, Vodafone India, said, “RED TOGETHER is an extremely rewarding proposition that guarantees savings for our consumers. As it is exclusively available on the recently relaunched Vodafone RED Postpaid plans, it further strengthens Vodafone RED’s position of being India’s best postpaid plan.”

Also, do make a note that the newly announced Vodafone RED Postpaid plans are not applicable for Vodafone users in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh circle.
