Vodafone Launches “DISCOVER CAMPUS Programme”

Vodafone India, today announced the launch of “DISCOVER CAMPUS Programme” an intensive training and development programme that enables to identify, retain and develop high-quality talent from leading Indian educational institutes, in order to groom them for leadership roles across Vodafone’s operations.

Vodafone Building Talent Pipeline: Adopting a glocal approach in talent and leadership development, DISCOVER enables trainee(s) to work across functions, undergo customized training modules and provides an exposure to Vodafone’s growth and career opportunities.




With this programme, Vodafone enables its new inductees to make educated career choices by offering them job rotation across functions/states/countries, career paths insight, tailor-made development plan that suits each individual, coaching and mentoring, projects, amongst others.

Prospective leaders will undergo 12-18 months development journey based on 70:20:10 principle of development. 70% of the development takes place through on the job learnings, 20% through coaching and mentoring, and 10% through classroom training

Campus Drive: Vodafone will identify top-notch talent by visiting more than 20 top-ranked B-Schools and T-Schools in India such as the IIMs, XLRI, MDI, SIBM, IIFT, JBIMS, SCMHRD, SP Jain, and FMS amongst others.

Mentorship @Vodafone: Top management will play a critical role in grooming the next generation of leaders by acting as their anchors and sponsors in their career.

Vodafone India’s HR policies and systems are amongst the finest in the world. The organization has strong processes to be positioned as an ‘Employer of Choice’. The current employee strength of Vodafone India is over 11,500 across the country.
