Vodafone has literally taken their "Happy To Help" campaign to the roads. This monsoon Vodafone's bright red logo seems to be all around helping the commuters from getting soaked in the rains.
Vodafone has deployed ushers to assist people at important junctures and make their journey "rain-free". Armed with umbrellas in hand these folks are more than just "Happy to Help".
Vodafone ushers will be present at major railway stations in Kerala like -Trivandrum, Kollam, Ernakulum South, Ernakulum Town, Thrissur, Calicut and Kannur, to assist commuters this monsoon. Ushers are also stationed at Vodafone stores to help customers in and out of the store during heavy rains.
Commenting on this initiative, K Sundararaman, Business Head, Vodafone Essar Kerala says, “Monsoon is a particularly difficult season for people in Kerala and through this initiative, we hope to bring relief to people during the downpour. We are always ready and ‘Happy to help’.
This monsoon, Vodafone has also taken additional steps to ensure that customers have seamless connectivity by conducting pre-monsoon network audits & implementing recommendations like Earth resistance verification, weather proofing, assurance of redundant power supply and ensuring adequate spare availability. All of these efforts help Vodafone in maintaining its network quality during adverse weather conditions.
