Additionally, Vodafone Idea has introduced a new iPhone Forever scheme for its postpaid customers. It is now known to every subscriber that to make its offerings more attractive, Vodafone Idea is launching new plans, revisions, offers and content partnerships more than ever. Although most offerings which Vodafone Idea introduces are aimed at the mass market, this new iPhone Forever programme will be a good deal for iPhone users. Considering that iPhone repair costs are sky-high and can set back a user by a large sum of money, the iPhone Forever programme will help Vodafone and Idea subscribers drastically reduce the repair costs and will even let them replace their phone in some cases. Read ahead to know more about the new iPhone Forever programme by Vodafone India and Idea Cellular.

iPhone Forever Programme Providing iPhone Replacement, Repair and Upgrade

On running a rough calculation, if you were to damage your iPhone 7 by chance, then you will likely have to pay Rs 8,000 for screen replacement, Rs 5,400 for back screen replacement, Rs 2,500 for camera repair and Rs 2,500 for power button repair. Adding up all these costs will be a hefty expense for anyone. But, the good part about the iPhone Forever programme is that Idea Nirvana and Vodafone RED postpaid plan users with billing upwards of Rs 649 per month will be eligible for the iPhone Forever programme, and this will enable them to get their iPhone replaced or repair with just a service handling fee of Rs 2,000 plus GST. Further, participants of this plan will get exclusive buy-back deals for upgrading their iPhones.

Vodafone Idea has also informed that all iPhone models above iPhone 5S purchased from an authorised seller in India will be eligible for the programme. While iPhones under the 18 months will be eligible for replacing, repair and upgrade, iPhones older than 18 months will only be eligible for repair and upgrade. Further, if you decide to use this service, Vodafone Idea will facilitate doorstep pick up and delivery for your device.

Benefits in Idea Nirvana or Vodafone RED Postpaid Plan of Rs 649

To recall what Vodafone and Idea offer in their Nirvana or RED postpaid plan with Rs 649 monthly rental, the telcos ship 90GB monthly data with 200GB data rollover option.
