Vodafone Idea and Tanla Platforms Partnership to End Soon

Vi has partnered with Route Mobile which will take over the same scope of work for the company that Tanla is currently doing. Route Mobile will deploy its suite of end-to-end A2P monetisation solutions for all A2P SMS traffic on the network of Vi. Route Mobile's solutions will be deployed on the network of Vodafone Idea on an exclusive basis, according to a statement from the company.

Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea (Vi), a prominent telecom operator in the Indian market and Tanla Platforms will end their partnership later this year. Tanla Platforms is a communications platform-as-a-service (CPaaS) provider. Both companies announced a collaboration back in November 2021. The partnership was announced for 2 years and now it is not going to go beyond its original scope of time. In a regulatory filing, Tanla Platforms has confirmed that its partnership with Vodafone Idea won't go beyond the initial term.




The company also said that it would affect the revenue of almost Rs 17 crore and a profit after tax (PAT) of about Rs 9 crore on a quarterly basis post-November 2023 when the partnership ends. Tanla and Vi had partnered for the provision of Platform and Firewall services for International A2P services.

To continue with getting this service, Vi has partnered with Route Mobile which will take over the same scope of work for the company that Tanla is currently doing. Vodafone Idea and Fundraising

Vodafone Idea is currently eyeing to raise funds from the market through equity and debt instruments. According to the management of the company, their cash flow will improve soon which will enable them to start clearing dues of vendors and other parties. The telco has also said that by the end of this year, they expect to close on a potential fundraising activity. Vi's promoter entity has also said that it is ready to infuse up to Rs 2000 crore to help with any impending payment in the near future.
