Vodafone Idea Ltd. (Vi) on Thursday, December 18, 2025, announced that its subsidiary, Vodafone Idea Telecom Infrastructure Limited (VITIL), has successfully raised Rs 3,300 crore through the issuance of unlisted, unrated and secured non-convertible debentures (NCDs).
The fundraise witnessed strong demand from a diversified pool of marquee investors, including large non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) and alternative investment funds (AIFs), with subscriptions exceeding the issue size.

According to the company, the proceeds will be utilised by VITIL to meet its payment obligations to Vi, enabling the telecom operator to strengthen its capital expenditure programme and support business growth.
Commenting on the development, Abhijit Kishore, Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Idea Ltd., said, "This fresh fundraise reinforces investor confidence in our strategy and long term vision. This capital strengthens our momentum as we continue to scale our network and enhance services for our customers. Discussions relating to long-term debt raise to support capex are ongoing with banks.”
JM Financial Products Ltd. acted as the exclusive debt arranger for the transaction.
