Vodafone Idea (Vi) has introduced a range of relief measures to support customers affected by the severe flooding in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Understanding the critical need for connectivity and access to critical information during emergencies, Vi said it has introduced the following initiatives:

For Vi Prepaid Customers
Vi is providing 1GB of free mobile data per day along with 10 minutes of local and STD outgoing calls. This benefit will be available for the next five days to help affected individuals stay connected, the company said on Wednesday.
For Vi Postpaid Customers
Vodafone Idea has also announced the extension of the due dates for bill payments by an additional seven days, offering some financial relief to those dealing with the aftermath of the floods.
These measures are effective immediately and will be applicable to select customers in the regions most affected by the floods.

"Vi's network teams are diligently working around the clock with local authorities to help restore normalcy in the affected areas," the operator said.
