Tata Sky Cashback Offer: Terms and Conditions Explained

Tata Sky has stopped providing the old long-term plans to the subscribers after the new Trai tariff regime came into effect. Instead, to the delight of customers, the popular DTH operator has come up with a long-term recharge offer, namely, Tata Sky Flexi Recharge. Under the Flexi Recharge offer, Tata Sky offered one month of extra recharge to the customers whoever performs 12 months of recharge at one go. Tata Sky users must recharge their monthly plan for 12 months at one go to be eligible for the offer.

The Flexi Recharge, which has now been renamed to Tata Sky Cashback offer, used to provide the additional recharge value at the end of 12th month. But recently, the operator has modified the scheme and started providing the extra one month of recharge instantly (might take up to 48 hours). Do make a note that a customer should perform 12 months of recharge of his/her current pack value. For example, if you're on a Tata Sky Telugu Basic pack priced at Rs 155.17 per month (excluding NCF), then you'll have to perform a recharge of Rs 155+Rs153 for 12 months to be eligible for the cashback offer.

Tata Sky Allows Users to Suspend Their Account Temporarily

Another unique feature in Tata Sky's arsenal is the temporary account suspension. Tata Sky customers recharging the Cashback offer will be eligible for account suspension feature. Under this feature, Tata Sky DTH users can suspend their account for a temporary period. That said, the maximum time Tata Sky allows a user to suspend their account is five days, so keep that in mind.

DTH account suspension is one of the interesting features out there. If you're travelling for a few days or five days, then you can suspend the DTH account and can resume it once you come back. With this feature, Tata Sky users will be able to save the balance amount in their account. Tata Sky account suspension feature can be used via the company's website or mobile app.
