Tata Sky Binge now comes with a one-month free trial offer to the new customers who are choosing the service. Priced at Rs 249 per month, Tata Sky Binge allows the standard TV viewers to watch content from OTT apps via the Amazon Fire TV Stick Tata Sky Edition. Tata Sky Binge offers premium access to OTT subscriptions at an affordable price of Rs 249. Alongside the 30-day free trial, Tata Sky users will also get free three months of Amazon Prime subscription, post which the charges would be Rs 129 per month. Another highlight feature of the Tata Sky Binge is the catch-up TV service. Yes, Tata Sky Binge platform has all the popular TV shows up to last seven days for the viewers to watch without any hassle.

Tata Sky Introduces New Trial Offer to New Binge Users

Tata Sky Binge is an entirely different offering from the DTH operator. Basically, DTH operators are going after launching Android TV-based Set-Top Boxes to allow users to watch Satellite TV and OTT content via only one box. But Tata Sky's idea is pretty different as it's forcing the users to have its own Set-Top Box, but additionally providing access to OTT apps via the Tata Sky Fire TV Stick Edition.

The service costs Rs 249 per month and the first month will be a trial one for the new users, says Tata Sky. For example, if you're choosing Tata Sky Binge for the first time, then the first month charges of Rs 249 will be waived off. Additionally, Tata Sky is also bundling three months of Amazon Prime subscription to the users at no extra cost, after which they will have to pay Rs 129 every month to keep the membership active.

What is Tata Sky Binge?

Tata Sky Binge is an entertainment service from the country's current largest DTH operator. As part of this unique service, Tata Sky will provide an exclusive Tata Sky Edition of Amazon Fire TV Stick to the users at no extra cost. However, users will have to pay Rs 249 monthly charges which also includes premium access to OTT services like Hotstar, SunNXT, Hungama Play, Eros Now and ZEE5, which totals over Rs 700, as we have reported recently.

Sadly, Amazon Prime subscription is not part of the Tata Sky Binge package. However, the DTH operator is providing three-months of free membership of Amazon Prime to the Tata Sky Binge users. Amazon Prime has monthly and yearly subscriptions priced at Rs 129 and Rs 999, respectively. Amazon Fire TV Stick also has Netflix app preinstalled, but Tata Sky Binge does not offer any premium subscription of the leading streaming service.

Besides the OTT apps, there's also the Tata Sky Binge app which is preinstalled. The Tata Sky Binge app offers on-demand library having thousands of TV shows and Movie Titles. Tata Sky Binge even has more than 400 Live TV channels on offer, but the company is not providing the service right now. Instead, Tata Sky Binge users can watch missed episodes of popular TV shows up to the last seven days, which makes it a Catch-Up TV service.

Tata Sky has started taking registrations for the Binge service on the web version now and it's exclusively available only to Tata Sky subscribers.
