Sparkle and Nexim Global Sign IP Transit Agreement
Italian telecommunications company Sparkle has signed a significant agreement with Nexim Global, an Italo-American telecommunications firm, for the provision of international IP transit and other IP services. The deal, signed in Amsterdam during the IBC2024 event, will see Sparkle provide Nexim Global with a range of IP services.

Details of the IP Services Provided

Under the agreement, Sparkle will offer IP transit at its Point of Presence (PoP) in Milan, along with DDoS protection and other IP services in Amsterdam and Frankfurt, enabling Nexim to achieve high-speed, low-latency access to the global Internet. The two operators will also strengthen their partnership, which includes additional synergies in the field of international connectivity, according to the joint statement.

Nexim Global's Network and Services

With over 8,600 km of fiber optic network, Nexim Global provides international backbone infrastructure and a globally distributed content delivery network (CDN), specialising in media broadcasting and distribution services. In addition to media services, Nexim offers on-demand broadcast and AV contribution services for international clients, as well as global connectivity solutions.

This partnership further reinforces their collaboration in international connectivity, solidifying Sparkle's position as a preferred partner for the media and broadcasting industry, the company stated.
