Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will be launching on August 7, confirmed the company on microblogging website Twitter. The company has posted a tweet revealing that the Galaxy Note 10 will be launched at Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York City. Also, the teaser shows a picture of an S Pen and a single camera lens (probably the company is referring to the front-facing camera that is said to be embedded into the top centre of the display). The Galaxy Note 10 will succeed the Galaxy Note 9 that was launched back in August 2018. There are several rumours about the Galaxy Note 10 like a fresh design, thin bezels all around, triple rear cameras and upgraded S Pen. Also, the Galaxy Note 10 is said to arrive in two variants like the Galaxy S series of phones, but nothing is confirmed from Samsung's end, so take these leaks with a pinch of salt.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10: What We Know So Far
As. noted, Samsung is rumoured to launch two variants of the Galaxy Note 10; The first model is the standard Note 10, while the second model is said to be premium Galaxy Note+ or Galaxy Note 10 Pro. In total, there will be four phones under Galaxy Note 10 series including two 5G models for both the variants. For the unaware, Samsung released a 5G variant of Galaxy S10 in several countries including South Korea, United Kingdom, etc., so it's entirely possible to see a 5G variant of the Note 10 coming in.
There are several renders of the Galaxy Note 10 devices making rounds on the web. First of all, the Galaxy Note 10 will feature different design compared to the Galaxy S10 devices; The handset will have a punch-hole selfie camera sitting on the middle of the top centre, something which we haven't seen from any brand till date. As for the specifications, the Galaxy Note 10 is said to have a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display, whereas the Galaxy Note 10+or Note 10 Pro said to offer a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate like the OnePlus 7 Pro.
Both the models are said to feature triple rear cameras and a single camera on the front. The Galaxy Note 10+ will likely feature a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor alongside the triple rear cameras. There will be S Pen support on both the models of Galaxy Note 10. They'll surely arrive in multiple storage variants with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, alongside a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Samsung Likely to Ditch 3.5mm Headphone Jack on Galaxy Note 10
Here's an interesting rumour about the Galaxy Note 10 devices. The South Korean company is said to be ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack with its flagship Galaxy Note 10 series. The Galaxy S10 retained the 3.5mm headphone jack, but the Galaxy Note 10 will ditch it. Finally, Samsung is joining the likes of Apple, OnePlus, Google by removing the famous audio jack port.
The recently launched mid-range smartphone from Samsung, the Galaxy M40, lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
