Samsung is working to make 2019 a better year than 2018. The South Korean smartphone maker is already working on several phones to launch this year including the year’s flagships by the company – Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10 Lite. In addition to the flagships and premium devices like Note 10, Samsung is also working on some mid-rangers under its Galaxy A and Galaxy M series. The report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A50 will come with a 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with no notch. The phone will include slimmer bezels compared to the previous A series phones, although, the chin could be thicker in comparison to other sides. The report further reveals that the upcoming Galaxy A50 will come with a rectangular display. The selfie camera, the proximity, ambient and other sensors and the earpiece will all be placed above the display on the thin bezel.
Samsung Galaxy A50: Specifications and Features
The report reveals the key specs of the Samsung Galaxy A50. The smartphone is rumoured to come with a 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint sensor, unlike the previously launched A series phones that include rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the hardware front, the Galaxy A50 is expected to be powered by Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 9610 processor which is built on the 10nm production process. The report further reveals that the Galaxy A50 will be backed by a 4000mah battery and not 5000mAh battery as rumoured previously.
Samsung had earlier said that the company is working on bringing some features from its premium phones to budget ones.
