Reliance Jio yet again extended the validity of the Jio Triple Cashback Offer until December 25. The telecom operator launched this plan earlier last month with an initial expiry date as November 25. However, for a second straight time, it extended the validity of the cashback offer, and the new validity date is December 25. Reliance Jio officially displayed the extension of offer date on its website- Jio.com.
It is also to be noted that Reliance Jio did not change the benefits of the Triple Cashback offer. Let's do a recap of the cashback offer. So, Jio is offering a cashback of Rs 2599 for every customer with every recharge of Rs 399 or above. This is one unique from Reliance Jio. Other telecom operators such as Airtel and Idea Cellular are also offering such cashback offers on their own respective portals.
The Rs 2599 cashback is divided into three types- standard cashback in the form of vouchers onto MyJio app, up to Rs 300 cashback on Jio partner wallet apps, and e-commerce recharge vouchers worth Rs 1899.
If a customer recharges with the Rs 399 or above plan, he/she will receive 100% cashback of Rs 400 in the form of vouchers. These cashback vouchers are divided into eight Rs 50 vouchers, and a single voucher can be used for a single transaction. Again, Jio is allowing to use the Rs 50 voucher on the Rs 399 or above recharge.
Secondly, we have instant cashback of Rs 300 on partner wallets. Reliance Jio allows a customer to pay via several wallet options such as Amazon Pay, Axis Pay, Freecharge, Paytm, PhonePe, etc. And the cashback amount depends on which wallet you use. Take a look at the image below for the cashback amount from the wallets.
Then we get the last offer- e-commerce vouchers. The company is offering up to Rs 1899 from several e-commerce sites such as AJio.com, Yatra.com, and Reliancetrends.com. That said, it's not a full cashback offer or an entire discount offer. Customers will get a Rs 399 off on a minimum purchase of Rs 1500 on AJio.com, a discount of Rs 1,000 on round-trips on Yatra.com, and a discount of Rs 500 on reliancetrends.com on a minimum purchase of Rs 1,999.
Reliance Jio will continue extending the validity of the Triple Cashback offer, especially with the threat poised from the incumbent telecom operators.
