The new tariff hike has got every subscriber talking about how much more they would be spending on their prepaid recharges from now on. The two incumbent telecom operators, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea, have already introduced their new prepaid recharges which come with increased prices and capped benefits. However, the only telecom operators in the line which is yet to put out its plans with the increased prices is Reliance Jio. The Mukesh Ambani led telecom operator is trailing by three days in its rollout of the new plans, by allowing the people to recharge with long term plans or to queue their recharges before the tariff hike. However, there is one thing to note about the tariff hike on the Reliance Jio prepaid recharges and that is the fact that even with a hike on these recharges, these plans will offer better benefit to the customers in some way or the other. To see how true this holds for the new plans from Reliance Jio, we decided to make a comparison of the same. Here is how the new Reliance Jio plans compare with the new plans from other telcos.

Reliance Jio Offering Less Prices for Same Data
Firstly, talking about the plans which come with one-month validity. Reliance Jio is offering a 1.5GB per day data plan to the users, which costs Rs 199. However, the other telcos, Airtel and Vodafone Idea are offering the same data limit on their Rs 248 and Rs 249 per month plan. Similarly, there is a little difference in the 2GB per day plan as well. While the Reliance Jio plan will be available for Rs 249 per month in this case, the incumbents are charging Rs 298 and Rs 299 per month. There would also be an approximate difference of Rs 50 in the 3GB per day plan too with Reliance Jio offering it for Rs 349 and the other telcos charging almost Rs 400.
