Realme 3i will be launched alongside the Realme X smartphone in India on July 15, the company has confirmed. The Realme 3i will be a stripped down variant of the Realme 3 that was launched earlier this year. Realme has confirmed that the upcoming Realme 3i will be exclusive to e-commerce portal Flipkart and it will come with the powerful MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. This model from Realme will take on the Redmi 7 which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset. If rumours are anything to go by, the Realme 3i will likely start at Rs 6,999 in India and it will be an incredible price for a smartphone with powerful Helio P60 SoC. Also, the Realme 3i is rumoured to come in two variants. So it's safe to say the Realme 3i will sit between the Realme C2 and Realme 3 smartphones which are priced at Rs 5,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively.

Realme 3i: Confirmed Specifications and Features

Realme is calling the 3i as 'Smartphone Ka Champion,' and as mentioned, it will take on the Xiaomi Redmi 7 which comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset. The Realme 3i will feature identical design to the Realme 3 and it will also offer dual cameras on the rear side. Also, the phone will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Like other Realme devices, the Realme 3i will also have a Gradient Diamond-Cut design.

The Flipkart teaser page of the Realme 3i confirmed the presence of a 6.22-inch Dewdrop display on the front, and underneath, the phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The upcoming smartphone will feature a 4230mAh battery similar to the Realme 3.

These are the confirmed features of Realme 3i. Going by the rumours, the Realme 3i will come in two variants with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. Also, there will be a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Realme 3i: Expected Pricing in India

With the Realme 3i, the company will be targeting the Xiaomi Redmi 7 that's priced at Rs 7,999. The Realme 3i likely be priced at Rs 6,999 for the base variant. Even if the device comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999, the phone will be an excellent option under Rs 8,000 and it will be the dominant smartphone in the segment, thanks to the Helio P60 chipset underneath. For those who're looking for a gaming smartphone on a budget, the Realme 3i should be an ideal option, but again, we will have to wait for the official prices.

In other news, Realme is also launching the Realme X smartphone in India on July 15. Notably, the Realme X is already available in China and it's coming to the Indian market. The Realme X will be the company's first phone to ship with a pop-up selfie camera and it will come with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC we saw on the Realme 3 Pro. The Realme X also has a 48MP rear camera.
