In a bid to promote its CDMA Mobile services, Reliance Communications (RCOM), India's single largest dual technology telecom today announced the launch of Coolpad D530 CDMA Mobile Phone Built with the Android 2.1 version OS for Rs.7999.
Reliance and Hong Kong-based cellphone maker Coolpad also plans to launch a CDMA/ EVDO Tablet running Google’s Android operating system for the Indian market priced below Rs 10000 by November.
The Coolpad D530 comes with an 800 MHz processor, 2MP camera, 1280 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, 256 MB of RAM and a 3.5 inch resistive touch screen aims to add some glitz to the otherwise lackluster handset offerings available to CDMA users.
Coolpad D530 will be available from Reliance Worlds and Reliance Mobile stores at Rs 7,999 along with bundled "100% Money Back" Voice and Data plans over Postpaid and Prepaid.
Apart from Android powered Coolpad D530, Reliance also offering Coolpad T20 Triple SIM (C+G+G) phone for Rs.3400 and Coolpad E230 Touch Phone at Rs.4999 for its CDMA Mobile subscribers.
