Kaira Global, distribution house for Razer in India announced new Razer Hammerhead Bluetooth in-ear headphones in the country. The wireless earphones come at a price point of Rs 9,699. Starting with the design, the Hammerhead BT headphones come clad in signature matte black and acid green colours, designed to appeal the gamers. The earpieces are made from same premium grade aluminium that is used in the flagship smartphones. The cable is quite thin and flat like noodles and doesn’t tangle. The Razer Hammerhead BT boasts 10mm dynamic drivers for both earpieces that are substantially larger for a louder and clearer audio experience. The new headphones feature built-in Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity option that uses the renowned Qualcomm aptX codec for low-latency, high-quality audio.
It also comes with an in-line remote and microphone that is compatible with Android and iOS devices. The mic unit hangs halfway along the right side of the Hammerhead BT and houses the volume rocker and the power button as well. The in-line remote puts all the control at your fingertips for music and video playback, calls, gaming, and more.
The battery unit is on the centre and Razer has done a unique thing with this. The battery unit also is magnetic serving as a shirt clip that hangs on even when you're jogging. Razer says the Hammerhead BT is made to deliver amazing battery life of up to 8 hours. This means it can easily get you through the day from morning commute to an evening run.
For charging, Razer provides with a gold plated USB-A to mini-USB wire which plugs into the microphone piece. Once plugged in, the Razer logos at the back of the earpiece glows green and will surely grab some attention when in a dark place. The LEDs also turns Red to indicate when the battery is low. Charging to full takes about two and a half hours.
The Razer Hammerhead BT headphones are priced at Rs 9,699 and available now with Kaira Global. Inside the package for the Hammerhead BT are a carrying case, short USB charging cable, additional silicone ear tip sizes, and of course the headphones.
