PUBG Mobile will be receiving a minor in-game update today which will set the stage for Royale Pass Season 9 that will start from September 13. PUBG Mobile India has announced this news on Twitter, but it did not reveal any version number for the same. The update rollout has started already, and for Android users, it weighs 124MB in size, and for iOS users, the update is of 140MB. That said, we have received the update, but it still shows the version number as 0.14.0, so it's a minor update from the company. Yesterday, PUBG Mobile officially confirmed that 0.15.0 update would be rolled out very soon which will add a new Arcade mode called 'Payload Mode.' So it seems like there will be no 0.14.5 update and the next major update will likely be 0.15.0.
PUBG Mobile Now Allows Users to Dismantle Emotes
This minor update has brought some new features to the game. Firstly, Tencent Games has added Weekly Mission crate reminders and the lobby no more shows expired vehicles. Furthermore, post the update, players will be able to dismantle emotes as well, something that was missing earlier. As of now, PUBG Mobile users can dismantle weapons, vehicles and outfits. But going forward they can dismantle emotes as well to earn silver fragments.
As mentioned above, the in-game update for Android weighs 124MB in size, and for iOS, it's 140MB in size. The update rollout has already started by Tencent Games. Also, do make a note that players on different versions cannot invite one another, so update as soon as possible.
The update also brings a new limited period event called 'Warriors Unite,' which will allow users to earn a prize pool of one million by performing some in-game tasks. Also, make sure to update the game for upgrading to Royale Pass Season 9.
PUBG Mobile Royale Pass Season 9: What to Expect?
Every Royale Pass of PUBG Mobile is based on a unique theme. The Royale Pass Season 8 was based on Ocean theme and it featured outfits, firearms, backpacks and vehicles based on sea animals. The Royale Pass Season 9 is based on a Warrior Theme and it's expected to offer new firearm skins, new outfits and more. Also, the Season 8 tier will be reset today and players will be taken down to lower tiers based on their Season 8 tier. For example, if you've reached Ace tier in Season 8, then most likely, you'll be thrown to Platinum Tier in Season 9. That being said, players will have to start pushing their rank again from scratch.
As you might be aware of, the Royale Pass Season 9 will begin tomorrow and it comes in two premium versions- Elite and Elite Plus, priced at 600UC and 1800UC, respectively. The Season 8 brought some cool outfits and firearm skins to the table and it will be interesting to see what we get with the Season 9 of PUBG Mobile.
