PUBG Mobile is possibly the best Battle Royale game available right now on both Android and iOS platforms. Launched more than a year ago, PUBG Mobile has garnered massive popularity across the globe, including India. With the growing demand for mobile games, smartphone brands are even releasing gaming smartphones aimed at those who're looking to stream and experience lag-free gameplay on their smartphone. In the latest news, Tencent Games announced that the PUBG Mobile would soon get Erangel 2.0 map which will be very much similar to the Erangel 2.0 map rolled out PUBG PC a couple of months ago. Also, the company announced there would be new Africa servers for those who're looking to play from the African continent. Tencent Games also announced its collaboration with The Walking Dead and there will be new game modes coming under the collaboration.

PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 Map Coming Soon

Almost every month, Tencent Games released a major update to PUBG Mobile adding new features and refreshing the overall design. At the ongoing PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) 2019 Global Finals, the company announced the arrival of Erangel 2.0 Map for PUBG Mobile. To recall, Erangel 2.0 map is already available for PUBG PC users, so there are no surprises that the company is bringing it to the mobile version as well. As for the updates with Erangel 2.0 map, it's a design refresh which has been asked by several Erangel map players in recent times.

Alongside the Erangel 2.0 map, PUBG Mobile will also get new Africa servers. This move comes after the Middle East server, which the company introduced very recently. This allows the players in African countries to play the game without any ping issues. For the unaware, in PUBG Mobile, if the ping is higher, the player will respond slowly, which will be evident.

In addition, Tencent Games announced its collaboration with The Walking Dead and we might see a story-based Zombie mode coming to PUBG Mobile under this collaboration. The Walking Dead is one of the popular American web series on which there's a mobile game already.

Talking about PMCO Mobile 2019, which is happening right now in Berlin, Team SouL is representing India fighting against the popular teams like RRQ Athena, Bigetron E-Sports and so on. PMCO Mobile 2019 Global Finals will have 16 matches in total (four in each map- Erangel, Sanhok, Miramar and Vikendi. The team which tops the table after 16 matches will lift the title.

PUBG Mobile Lite Now Available in Google Play Store

Yesterday, Tencent Games officially announced that the PUBG Mobile Lite would be available for low-end smartphone users to download via Google Play Store. At the moment, it's unknown when the company is planning to release the PUBG Mobile Lite for iOS, or maybe we may not see one coming soon considering how good even the three-year-old iPhones handle the full version of PUBG Mobile. But in the past, we have seen the company working on PUBG Mobile Lite for iOS as well.
