Paytm First Launched: Subscription Charges, Services and Everything to Know

Paytm is gearing up to take on the likes of Amazon Prime and Flipkart Plus in India. On Tuesday, Paytm launched its first ever subscription-based loyalty programme for the Indian consumers with the aim to increase customer retention, called the Paytm First. The new competitor to Amazon’s Prime subscription and Flipkart’s Plus aka Paytm First offers several subscription-based services like Zomato Gold, Gaana, Sony Liv, ViU Premium, and Eros Now. Paytm First is offering all these services at an annual charge of Rs 750. Not just that, Paytm First also offers benefits on Uber and Uber Eats services to the consumers.

In addition, Paytm is also preparing to offer cashback for worth Rs. 1,500 to customers who opt for the Paytm First membership. Not just that, the company will also provide offers to Paytm First customers on Paytm Mall. With the Paytm First subscription service, the company is basically aiming to take on other similar services like Amazon Prime and Flipkart Plus. In comparison, the Paytm First service also offers annual subscriptions to entertainment apps like Gaana, Sony Liv, and Eros Now. Additionally, Paytm First may also offer customers membership to Zomato Gold and Viu Premium. It also offers Uber benefits of up to Rs 6,000 and Uber Eats benefits of up to Rs 2,400 to the customers. Paytm goes a step ahead and claims that the Paytm First service offers services worth Rs 12,000. The offerings don’t end here. Addition to these services, Paytm First will also provide over Rs 1,500 cashback which includes Rs 100 cashback on movie tickets every month.
