OxygenOS Open Beta 4 Brings New Features to OnePlus Phones
The update adds 'Raise to lower the ringtone' feature to both the phones. This feature can be enabled in Sounds & Vibration menu inside the Settings app. Most of the smartphone brands offer 'Wake to mute the ringtone,' but the Open Beta 4 gives an additional option to the OnePlus smartphone users. Next up, OnePlus says the users can now add unknown numbers to contacts in an efficient way, but we're not sure about what is referring to. The Chinese company also expanded the dial pad area to avoid mis-touches.
OnePlus has optimised the Messages app and it also has a new sorting feature for verification codes. OnePlus Calculator app has been updated as well. As mentioned above, the OnePlus Switch app now supports the transfer of iPhone data through iCloud, another important feature for users who're migrating from an iPhone to OnePlus phones. OnePlus also added 'The Weather Channel' as a new source to provide accurate weather information.
OnePlus' Open Beta releases are mostly stable, but there will be some bugs which only a few users will be able to notice.
