Ortel launches free broadband plan for its subscribers

Ortel Communications Limited, a regional cable television service provider focused in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal offers free broadband to its cable TV subscribers.

Under the offer, a free data limit is offered to the subscriber every month, beyond which the user will be charged a nominal amount. The users can also migrate to other Ortel plans within one year of the offer period. The service is available only in Odisha, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh.

“Our objective is to penetrate deeper into the markets by making internet affordable. This free broadband will be useful for those who are having limited download and unlimited uploads,” said Bibhu Prasad Rath, president and CEO, Ortal Communications.
