Oppo has just announced the Oppo N1 Mini with a 13MP swivel camera for China. Seeing the fact that Oppo’s operations are in full swing in India these days, the smartphone can be safely expected to make its way to us as well.
The smartphone will break cover on the 10th of June and all its details will be released then. For the time being, Oppo has released some of the specifications and not all of them. It will come with a 5 inch display whose resolution is yet unknown but we expect it to be 1080p as devices in the higher mid-range are slowly starting to get 1080p display units. A 2,140 mAh battery will be present inside it. Ticking inside the N1 Mini will be an Octa-core processor but its make is yet unknown. It will be either a MediaTek MT6592 unit or the Exynos 5422 Octa unit.
At the front/back will be the much talked about 13MP swivel camera which features a sensor size of 1/3.2” and is a 6 element lens unit from Sony. It will come with the Super Zoom mode which we saw on the Find 7 but in this one it will work as a 24MP unit and not a 50MP one as found in the Find 7. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with Colour OS on top of it. That is all of what is known about the device for now and we’ll have the complete spec sheet once the company announces it on June 10.
