FTTH Technology
With Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology, Open Fiber has successfully extended high-speed internet access to 110 premises across Pentone. These premises can now experience speeds of up to gigabits provided by partner operators. Open Fiber states that this technology ensures residents can enjoy seamless connectivity, enabling various online activities that require high bandwidth.
Closing the Connectivity Gap
One of the key objectives of this initiative was to bridge the digital divide by reaching areas that were previously underserved in terms of connectivity. Open Fiber says its approach has allowed Pentone’s residents and businesses in even the most remote corners of the region to access the benefits of high-speed internet.
