OnePlus Announces Midnight Black Limited Edition of OnePlus 3T and it Looks Dope

Earlier today, we reported that OnePlus is going to launch another limited edition of OnePlus 3T in Matte Black colour variant. The company, a few hours back announced the limited edition ‘Midnight Black’ variant of the OnePlus 3T. The best part of this version is you can actually get your hands on the phone.

OnePlus 3T limited edition

Recently, OnePlus released an exclusive variant of OnePlus 3T in collaboration with Paris fashion house, Colette, but the company decided to sell only 250 units of the phone and that too only in Paris. Having said that, OnePlus claims the Midnight Black edition as a limited one, but they did not reveal the number to units to be sold.

The OnePlus 3T Midnight Black version will be sold in only one variant-6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and the best part is that OnePlus is keeping the pricing same as the standard Gunmetal colour variant. In India, the phone will be available for Rs. 34,999 and will be sold on March 31 at 4 PM. As of now, there are no details on where the company is planning to sell the limited edition phone in India- Amazon India or OnePlus’ own store.

OnePlus in its blog post said as follows, “This limited edition of the OnePlus 3T is hewed out of the same space-grade aluminium that lent the original OnePlus 3 and 3T devices their class and durability. A dark coating of just 14 microns in thickness is meticulously applied to the surface of the phone, imbuing the device with a stunning black colour built to last, while retaining the look and feel of naked metal.”

The OnePlus 3T was released in December 2016 as an incremental update to the OnePlus 3. It packs a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display, Snapdragon 821 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 3400mAh battery, and 16MP rear front cameras.

@nikhil Is it wise to go for it now….I can wait for SD835 or SD660 and Nokia. Black colour is bit tempting. I heard only 128gb available.. if 64gb also, it would have been good.

Battery is a bit suspect….Otherwise it’s been fantastic phone so far…..battery life 3.30-5.30 hours depending on usage……If you install custom ROM everything works super fine……Both battery and performance….This has been beast of a phone in a custom ROM…..I feel Nokia Snapdragon 660 will be priced lower than this…..Around 22000-25000 but Don’t know when it will be launched…. Snapdragon 660 performs just as good as 652…..I don’t see any difference….Snapdragon 835 will be beast but price will be increased by a lot in case of one plus……It will be around 38-45 k depending upon what storage they include….Won’t come before July

What a joke. People getting crazy for a black edition? What next? Have they all run out of ideas? Innovations? A new colour is the next big thing?

Do some research bro before posting these stupid comments, S7 was launched with black color in Feb 2016 whereas iphone 7 came in September 2016. Now you want to take credit for colors too?? At least Samsung’s paint is not chipping like that of poorly built iPhone. We all know that most of the IOS features are shamelessly copied from android. Now ask siri how to get a life.

Hello Rahul… You’re mistaken… Android copied iOS from 2007 and later Android got upper hand in new features than iOS. Apple is trying to add those features one by one slowly, so they can survive more. Android on the other hand is bringing new features, but 98% of android users don’t receive it via SW updates. Next thing about iOS painting according to you… Its not actually painting alone, it includes several processes and the chipping issue was 100% fake. Some **** purposefully done that to reduce iPhone sales. Some persons not able to buy iPhone will complain about it…… Read more »

First of all, I am using S7 EDGE so i can definitely buy iphone. This is actually a typical reply from an apple fanboy but it’s OK. They forget that there are phones that are expensive than an iphone. You said android copied ios in 2007. You cannot be more wrong. Google bought android in 2005 to compete with symbian, Windows and blackberry. You can search news articles from mid 2006 when android screenshots were leaked, months before ios was ever seen. Now go to youtube and watch video IOS 1.0 vs. Android 1.0. Android was so much advanced when… Read more »

Dear Rahul, Google bought Android, but the copy thing as mentioned by Neha was true… Android copied iOS at the beginning. If you believe FORBES news fully,

This shows what Google did. Since I don’t have an iPhone, I can’t say about the chipping issue.

Its Evolution bro, copy idea or ios code copy? Apple too did, android too did, but apple copied many from days of xerox. Rebrand same existing as something radical, magical, super duper, like some thing innovative just from alien land…IOS is closed thing, Android is open and freeware.

Sorry Rahul, link not in the previous comment. Just search : “forbes google stole from apple” and click, read the first link or the link with the title.

What ever, apple’s percentage in copying is more than any, rephrase and search other way, you even get more results.. Apple makets the existing innovation, others fail to do as apple do. Search R&D costs of each company year wise and profits they get.
