OnePlus 15R, the next premium phone from OnePlus is going to launch soon in India. The OnePlus 15R is slated to launch in India on December 17, 2025. Many details about the phone are already confirmed. The OnePlus 15R Ace Edition will also launch in India this time. Now, OnePlus has confirmed two things, which are actually pretty unique.
Firstly, the unique and in a real sense a first, is the integration of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. This is the first phone globally to feature this chipset. Secondly, the OnePlus 15R will feature a 32MP sensor in the front for selfies. It will be the first R series phone from OnePlus to feature this. Then, it will also feature 4K video recording support.

This is double the 16MP sensor which was present in the OnePlus 13R. The front sensor will support 4K video in 30fps using the selfie camera. It is a massive resolution jump from the 1080p in the OnePlus 13R. OnePlus 15R will also feature the DetailMax Egine which is present in the OnePlus 15 for processing images.
OnePlus 15R will come with support for many camera modes such as Ultra Clear Mode, Clear Burst, and the Clear Night Engine along with the same advanced computational photography algorithm. This will level up users photography and the main rear camera is also capable of recording video in 4K 120fps, all of which will look pretty good on the 1.5K AMOLED display on the device which also supports 165Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus 15R is confirmed to pack a 7400mAh battery, which is pretty large, and will also come integrated with the G2 Wi-Fi chip and Touch Response Chip. The phone will launch soon and its pricing will be revealed on launch day.
