Olympian Motors has announced an expanded collaboration with Nvidia to accelerate the development of its Olympus Platform, an open, modular, AI-driven electric vehicle (EV) platform. This collaboration integrates Nvidia's DRIVE AGX Orin platform and the Nvidia Inception Program to create a new protocol to design, develop and deploy AI models and application to electric vehicles.

Features of the Olympus Platform
The Olympus Platform features a modular approach to both EV hardware and software, providing developers with easy and standardised access to vehicle data infrastructure, real-time data sensing and processing units, access to vehicle communication networks, and integration of AI models and applications.
With the DRIVE AGX Orin delivering up to 254 trillion operations per second, the platform supports advanced autonomous driving, predictive safety, and AI-optimised user interfaces, according to the company.

Benefits for Developers and the EV Ecosystem
"Developers can easily access the open, modular vehicle OS and cloud, deploy machine learning models and applications, and actively shape the future of the EV ecosystem," the companies said in a joint statement on December 23, 2024.

Upcoming Pilot Program in Los Angeles
Olympian Motors will showcase the Olympus EV Platform in the upcoming pilot program in Los Angeles, CA, alongside the Model 84 and Centaur VAN, with the aim of further developing the ecosystem.
The Olympus Platform is set to launch with features including real-time physical sensing, crash-test simulations, predictive safety protocols powered by AI, modular vehicle configurations for rapid manufacturing, and AI-driven cockpit systems designed for dynamic user interfaces.
