Before Microsoft’s acquisition, Nokia was running trials for its own Android line up which eventually launched as Nokia X line up. Though fanboys of Android & Nokia were happy, Nokia X did not find much success compared to other Android handset makers.

At the same time Microsoft to integrate Nokia’s assets to its DNA. That plan comes with biggest pink slip handover to the employees. Around 18,000 job cuts incl. 12,500 from Nokia will be done by 2015.

As Nokia X series to be axed off, Microsoft is busy launching other X phones in global markets, which includes Nokia X2 which will be launched in India next month.

If you want Windows, go for Windows. If you want Android, go for Android. But never go for the fusion of both. Infact never go for the fusion of anything, because we all know how that fails most of the time :/

I already said that microsoft will never allow any android device in its ecosystem and that happened now. Really feel sorry for those who bought nokia x. Also, people must refrain from buying any more x devices as it wouldn’t get any support in future.

It was wise decision btw, and if the launch more windows phone devices with really competitive specs, that would be game changer. Motorola being a perfect example.
