HMD Global owned Nokia, the Finnish upstart company, holds a unique position in the Indian market. This is because, while the other smartphone companies focus solely on the smartphones and try to ship the latest technology, the approach of HMD Global towards Indian market is a little different as it also ships the features phones for the Indian users. Nokia has been credited in the past for making some of the most iconic feature phones like the Nokia 8110 or the Banana phone. The legacy of these feature phones continues as HMD keeps on launching new feature phones for the users. Now, recently, Nokia launched Nokia 6.2 and the Nokia 7.2, which came with Android One and were smartphones. However, in a new update, HMD Global has made yet another feature phone launch with the introduction of the Nokia 110. Nokia 110 Features and Highlights

It’s worth noting that the first time that we got to see the look of the Nokia 110 was in Berlin when the device was announced alongside the other smartphones like the Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 2720 and the Nokia 800 Tough. Now while the Nokia 6.2 and the Nokia 7.2 have already made their way to the India markets, the other two phones are awaiting their launch in the country. As for the Nokia 110, the phone has entered India with its launch. The Nokia 110 comes with a focus on entertainment as it comes with an MP3 player, FM radio and more such options. Not only this, but the device also gets other features like the classic Snake game, which would keep the users engaged and entertained.

During the launch of the new feature phone, Nokia 110, Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global remarked, “Nokia 110 brings our fans a fun handset that packs in music, games, and the everyday essentials you expect from a Nokia feature phone in a modern, durable design. With its long-lasting battery, Nokia 110 is always ready-to-go when you are, ensuring you are kept entertained at an accessible price.”

As for the specifications of this device, Nokia has revealed that the Nokia 110 comes with a 1.77-inch QVGA display and the body of the phone is clad in plastic. Like we mentioned above, Nokia has claimed that this phone would be great in the hands of people, who would like to consume entertainment apps on the go for an affordable price tag. The Nokia 110 comes with MP3 player and to store songs and other media, and the users will get a 32GB storage support via memory card. It also comes with a built-in FM radio and popular games like Snake. When it comes to camera and the other features of this feature phone, the Nokia 110 features a qVGA camera on the rear side and an LED torchlight. Under the plastic casing, the Nokia 110 packs an 800mAh battery that would be able to provide 18.5 days standby time, whereas it would be able to offer music playback time of up to 27 hours.

As for the pricing of this feature phone, Nokia has announced a recommended best buy price of Rs 1,599 for the Nokia 110 and it would be available in various colour options which include Ocean Blue, Black and Pink. The phone would be available starting October 18, 2019, across top retail outlets in India and also on the official online Nokia store.
