Reliance to Soon Launch Lyf Water 7S with 3GB of RAM and Octa-Core Chip at Rs. 7,499

Reliance Retail has been aggressively expanding their product portfolio by launching Lyf smartphones now and then. The company recently launched the Lyf F1s smartphone in India at Rs. 9,599 and it is the cheapest smartphone right now in the country to feature a Snapdragon 652 chipset. It now looks like the company is set to unveil a new smartphone under the same Lyf lineup. Dubbed as the Lyf Water 7S, the smartphone is listed on the company’s official site and will be an upgrade to the Lyf Water 7.

The Lyf Water 7S features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with the MiraVision display technology for enhanced picture output. At the heart of the phone, we are looking at the MediaTek MT6753 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM to handle the system operations. There is 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.

The upcoming Lyf Water 7S will feature a 13MP camera on the rear with support for Phase Detection Auto Focus technology and it also has a single LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP sensor that helps in capturing the selfies and video calls. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is armed with a 2800mAh battery.

Apart from these specifications, Reliance is touting the phone as ‘Future Ready’ and comes bundled with the company’s Jio free services in the form of ‘Jio Happy New Year’ offer till March 31. Also, with every Lyf phone, the company is giving extended warranty for one year, and the Water 7S is no exception.

As said earlier, the smartphone is listed on the company’s official site- mylyf.com with a price tag of Rs. 7,499. As of now, there is no information regarding the smartphone’s official release date and availability, but on the website the phone is shown as already available for purchase via Reliance Digital Retail stores.
