December is almost here, and with that, the telecom industry is drawing in closer and closer to the tariff hike which is supposedly only a few weeks away for Jio, Airtel and BSNL and only a day away for Vodafone Idea users. Now, the tariff hike is a long-awaited thing for the telecom operators which will help them in positively transforming their balance sheets. The tariff hike will also help them overcome some of the sudden dues which they might have encountered after the AGR decision on October 24. But, with all this being said, there is also the fact that the tariff hike is something that the consumers will be up against, but there would be little that they would be able to do about it. Also, since all the telecom operators are hiking the prices of their plans, shifting to another operator is also not an option. However, for a little defence for themselves from this tariff hike and to save themselves some money, the subscribers can surely opt for the long term prepaid plans before the tariff hike happens. Here are some of the long-term prepaid plans, the subscribers can choose from under the Rs 1,000 price tag.

Reliance Jio Rs 999 Prepaid Plan
When it comes to long-term prepaid plans, Reliance Jio has two choices for the customers. One in which it ships no daily data limit, and the other ones in which the data is available with a daily FUP limit. The Rs 999 prepaid plan by Reliance Jio belongs to the first category, and it comes with 60GB data for the validity period of 90 days. Along with this, the subscribers also get the benefit of 100 SMS per day. There is also the added benefit of subscription to Reliance Jio apps. Further, the subscribers will have to buy the additional IUC talk time vouchers to ensure that they can make calls to other networks.
