With Nexus devices getting a taste of Nougat, Sony too gears up for rolling it on its select devices. The list of devices does not include Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3, which makes us wonder if the lineup will get the update at all. To recap, Sony is not the only one to unleash its device list for Nougat update; HTC was the first one to publish a list right after the announcement of Android 7.0.
On its official blog post, the company says,"We’ve been working hard to bring this major update to as many of our devices as possible, as quickly as we can. We’re really excited about the new Sony features & functionality and the improvements we’ve made to the user experience – and we’ll be sharing more soon."
It is noteworthy to point that Sony has just published the name of the devices, but has not revealed any timeline for the rollout. Also, the timeline for update roll out might differ by regions and carriers.

- Xperia Z3+
- Xperia Z4 Tablet
- Xperia Z5
- Xperia Z5 Compact
