LG Optimus Pro and LG Optimus Net Android Smartphones Get Official

LG unveils the Optimus Net and Optimus Pro, the latest additions to its Optimus family. Both devices share the same 800 MHz processor, 3 MP camera, 3.6 Mbps 3G connectivity and Android 2.3 Gingerbread running right out of the box.

LG Optimus Net:

LG Optimus Net (LG P690) is the evolution of highly popular LG Optimus One, It allows you to experience the latest version of the world with the Android user experience thanks to the Turbo fast 800MHz processor. Internet browsing is faster, more fluid and the applications are due to touch a 3.2 inch high precision.

Equipped with the latest Android 2.3.3, LG Optimus Net offers a world of applications and entertainment with the Android Market and the new LG Social + widget to share your days with friends on Facebook and Twitter.

Price of the both phones is – Optimus Net at €200 and Optimus Pro at €180. The LG Optimus Net and Optimus Pro are said to be out for sale in Italy already, so it might not be long until they land on the shelves across Europe and on the other side of the Atlantic.

Really, today I realize why nokia is best from every side and world leader in mobile phone. Read my experience carefully. From my great C5 I’m using internet in my laptop(using the phone as a modem).Speed is awesome some, especially 3g speed, But without installing the nokia Pc Suite. Because I connect my phone with laptop through Bluetooth and the default bluetooth software is already given by the manufacturer of the my laptop(DELL).now when I try LG gt540 optimus phone which price is Rs.11500(app.) (plz check the specification),for connecting internet by this way it showed that “No service found”.now immediately… Read more »

first of all, this are not cheap phone , having 800Mhz Cpu with 512MB Ram, it is decent one, even 3.6mbps is sufficient. and last one , video calling is a very long long and battert drained process , blurred images and low volume voice , it is no use , i think voice only call is better

Video call is most important when you talk about 3G Phone. Without dual camera of front camera the 3G phone is nothig it’s almost like some wireless internet surfing machine with mobile(gsm) support.
