Lenovo Ideapad A10 Hybrid tablet launched for Rs 19,990

Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has added new device to its existing IdeaPad multi-mode hybrid device range in India. The company has brought out the new IdeaPad A10 Android based device. It is a dual-mode notebook with a full-sized keyboard and a magnificent display which can be flipped up to 300 degrees. Here are the key specs and features of the device-

Display- 10.1-inch HD (1366 x 768 pixel) screen with 10-point multi-touch feature

Processor, Chipset and RAM- Cortex-A9 quad-core processor and graphics processor with unknown clock speed, 2GB RAM

Operating System- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with some customized updates.

Camera- 0.3 megapixel webcam

Memory-  up to 32GB of SSD storage.

Connectivity- Micro-USB port, two USB 2.0 ports, a Micro HDMI port, TF (microSD) card reader and an audio combo jack (headphone and mic) to join the rest of the world.

Battery- The device offers up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge discharge cycle

Weight and dimensions- The device weighs about1 kilogram which is much lesser than many other devices in the segment. It measures 269 mm x 185 mm x 17.3 mm. It also has an add-on full size AccuType keyboard along with individual round keys so that you can have comfortable and accurate typing.

The device is currently available at all Lenovo exclusive stores, multi-brand outlets and large format retail stores. Its current price is Rs 19,990.

The company has launched some other devices recently. These include the MIIX2 and the Flex 14D and 15D convertible laptops, IdeaPad Yoga 2, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad 8 tablet and the One Link Dock Pro connector. Let’s see if the company can make a distinct mark with these launches. Only the coming days will clarify this.
