Lava launches A82 smartphone with 5-inch display, priced at Rs. 4,549

For those who look for wallet-friendly smartphones, here are a few options from Lava. The company has unveiled A82 budget smartphone in India at an attractive price of Rs. 4,549.

Lava A82 smartphone boasts of a 5-inch TFT FWVGA display of 480x854 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 196ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The device has an 8GB in-built internal storage, expandable up to 32Gb via a microSD card. Located at the rear of Lava A82 smartphone is a 5MP rear camera and at the front is a 2MP selfie snapper. In terms of connectivity, Lava A82 smartphone supports GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and is dual-SIM.

The Lava A82 measures 144x72.7x9mm. A 2000mAh battery completes the package. The dual-SIM smartphone is now exclusively available via Tata's CLiQ online store. Besides A82, Lava also listed Lava A48 smartphone recently on its website without revealing its pricing details. However, in terms of specifications, Lava A48 comes with a 4-inch WVGA display of 480x800 pixels resolution, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM. It bears a 2MP rear camera with flash, and a 0.3MP front camera. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. The specifications clearly hint that Lava A48 is a low-budget smartphone and is targeting budget-conscious buyers.

Another recent launch from Lava was A59. Priced at Rs. 4,199, the A59 boasts of a 4.5-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. Similar to Lava A82 and A48, this dual-SIM smartphone too runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. In terms of camera, Lava A59 sports a 5MP rear camera with flash, and a 0.3MP front-facing camera with flash. It packs 4GB of built-in storage expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It is powered by a 1750mAh battery.
