Karbonn has pushed the boundaries of the entry level smartphone segment and has launched the country's cheapest smartphone, the A50s for merely Rs 2,799. It comes with a modest set of specifications but they will still work decently well together to give you an experience that is better than most of the feature phones out there.   • 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek processor
  • Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
  • 256 MB RAM
  • 512 MB internal storage, expandable by 32GB with a microSD card
  • 2MP rear camera with a flash, VGA front camera
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and A-GPS for connectivity
  • 1,100 mAh battery
  • Black and White colour options

The smartphone's specifications may not blow your mind but it does not cost a lot either. It is India's cheapest smartphone on sale out there and will make for a really good replacement for your feature phone or as a first one too.
