JioCinema Integration Now on TCL TVs, Access On-Demand Videos, Multi-Lingual Support and More

After Mi TVs, global top-2 TV Company, TCL Electronics has announced that it would integrate JioCinema. Only a day back, Xiaomi India through its Twitter handle announced that Mi TV users would be able to access JioCinema on their TVs without casting thus hinting at the arrival of JioCinema app for Mi TVs. Now TCL has made the same announcement. Through this integration, TCL will host over 1 lakh hours of exciting content from JioCinema, including the latest and classic movies, TV shows, music videos, trailers, and more across major languages.

JioCinema Video-on-Demand Application Details

JioCinema is the popular video-on-demand platform from Reliance Jio, the top telecom operator of India. On JioCinema, the Jio subscribers can access thousands of hours of TV series, movies and more. Although the application comes with a Chromecast integration, which allows the users to cast their screen on TVs, this integration in the TVs would allow the viewers of TCL televisions to stream the JioCinema content right from the app itself. Only yesterday, another major TV company, Xiaomi announced that it would also integrate JioCinema onto its TVs for the viewers. Using this, the viewers will be able to stream content right away from the TV itself without needing to engage their phone.

Commenting on the association, TCL India Managing Director, Mr Mike Chen said, “We are glad to announce our association with JioCinema, one of India’s frontrunners in offering enthralling on-demand content solutions. At TCL, we are driven to provide the most immersive and integrated entertainment solutions to our customers and are affirmative that the users will appreciate extensive collection of movies and shows by JioCinema now available on the Smart TVs by TCL.” The executive further added, “Digital entertainment solutions like JioCinema have been gradually taking over traditional broadcasts and are a better offering for the on-the-go and connected consumers of today. JioCinema brings the most extensive collection of on-demand entertainment for TCL users.”

JioCinema Disney Content, Multiple Languages, and More

As we mentioned above, JioCinema offers a massive content library of TV shows and movies which users can watch. Under the OTT category, JioCinema is one of the most popular apps in the country right now. Courtesy of Reliance Jio’s partnership with Disney, the JioCinema app also comes with a lot of Disney content. Further, the app has support for languages like Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri. Not only this, but the application also offers features like MyDownloads, watchlist, autoplay episodes. Further on, the users will be able to select bitrate for quality control and parental control as well. With the JioCinema integration on TCL TVs, the viewers of TCL will be able to enjoy the content and the features which JioCinema offers with ease on their bigger screens. Earlier, some of the Intex TVs were also announced to come with JioCinema integration.
