Jio Silently Rolls Out 100GB AI Cloud Welcome Offer for Users
Reliance Jio is rolling out its Welcome Offer of up to 100GB of AI Cloud Storage, along with early access to new AI (artificial intelligence) features, for select users. During the company's 47th Annual General Meeting in August 2024, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, while unveiling JioBrain—a comprehensive suite of tools and platforms spanning the entire AI lifecycle, along with use cases and developments—announced the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer, which allows Jio customers to enjoy 100GB of storage powered by AI technology.

Jio AI-Cloud Welcome offer Announcements

"Today, I am announcing that Jio users will get up to 100GB of free cloud storage, to securely store and access all their photos, videos, documents, all other digital content, and data. And we will also have the most affordable prices in the market for those needing even higher storage. We plan to launch the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome offer starting Diwali this year, bringing a powerful and affordable solution where cloud data storage and data-powered AI services are available to everyone everywhere," Mukesh Ambani announced during the AGM.

"To support Jio's vision of 'AI Everywhere for Everyone using Connected Intelligence', Jio's AI-Cloud Welcome offer was introduced during the quarter. Under this offer, Jio users will get up to 100GB of free cloud storage to securely store and access all their photos, videos, documents, digital content, and data, Jio Platforms Limited said in its Q2 FY25 results statement.

Jio Sending SMS Notifications to Users

Reliance Jio AI Cloud Welcome Offer

Jio is now sending SMS notifications to select Jio users, stating: "As a valued family member and JioCloud user, we want you to be the first to experience the new JioCloud. Enjoy 100GB free storage, AI Memories, AI Scanner, DigiLocker and early access to new AI features!"

The screenshot shows that the storage limit has now expanded beyond 100GB. If you are a Jio user, you can check if you qualify for the offer and try the AI cloud service firsthand.
