Reliance Jio has launched new ISD packs for its users—both prepaid and postpaid—to enjoy discounted calling to 21 international destinations. Earlier, as TelecomTalk reported in September, Jio had one Global ISD Pack priced at Rs 501, which offers a monetary value of Rs 424.58, along with 5 international SMS and a validity of 28 days. Now, Jio has introduced seven new ISD packs targeting 21 countries. Let's take a look at all the newly launched ISD packs applicable to prepaid and postpaid Jio numbers in the story ahead.

1. Jio Rs 99 ISD Pack - UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kuwait, and Bahrain
The Rs 99 ISD Pack offers ISD talk time of 10 minutes, with a validity of 7 days. This value can only be used for making ISD calls to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
2. Jio Rs 89 ISD Pack - China, Japan, and Bhutan
The Rs 89 ISD Pack offers ISD talk time of 17 minutes, with a validity of 7 days. This value can only be used for making ISD calls to China, Japan, and Bhutan.
3. Jio Rs 79 ISD Pack - United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Spain
The Rs 79 ISD Pack offers ISD talk time of 10 minutes, with a validity of 7 days. This value can only be used for making ISD calls to the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Spain.
4. Jio Rs 69 ISD Pack - Australia and New Zealand
The Rs 69 ISD Pack offers ISD talk time of 15 minutes, with a validity of 7 days. This value can only be used for making ISD calls to Australia and New Zealand.
5. Jio Rs 59 ISD Pack - Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Hong Kong
The Rs 59 ISD Pack offers ISD talk time of 15 minutes, with a validity of 7 days. This value can only be used for making ISD calls to Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
6. Jio Rs 49 ISD Pack - Bangladesh
The Rs 49 ISD Pack offers ISD talk time of 20 minutes, with a validity of 7 days. This value can only be used for making ISD calls to Bangladesh.
7. Jio Rs 39 ISD Pack - USA and Canada
The Rs 39 ISD Pack offers ISD talk time of 30 minutes, with a validity of 7 days. This value can only be used for making ISD calls to the USA and Canada.
What Jio Says:
Jio states that these packs, with dedicated ISD minutes, provide value for money at the most affordable rates. Customers can recharge these packs as many times as needed to stay connected with their loved ones in key countries, as Jio claims that popular destinations are covered.
ISD Pay-As-You-Go Rate Revision
Additionally, Jio announced that the ISD pay-as-you-go rates have been revised for key countries including Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Singapore, China, Germany, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Spain, and Indonesia.
Jio mentions that the USD pay-as-you-go rates have been revised for 5,668 country area codes out of a total of 14,694 codes. This means that ISD rates for country area codes other than the 5,668 remain unchanged. Additionally, 42 new ISD codes have been added.

Conclusion
According to Jio's website, users can enjoy great rates for ISD calls to 230 countries across 14,736 country area codes (up from 14,693 country area codes in September) using Jio International Service. Previously, there was only one Global ISD pack, as discussed above.
Now, Jio has launched ISD packs for countries in sets according to their regions, along with discounted calling benefits. These new ISD packs and rate revisions went live on October 10, 2024, and the rate revision applies to the Standard base rate, Global ISD 501 pack, Fiber ISD 501 pack, and Enterprise base rate cutter plan, according to Jio.
