Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom operator, launched the AirFiber service in September of 2023. In just over six months, the company acquired its first million users. Reliance Jio has seen an impressive growth rate in addition to new AirFiber customers. The additions are driven by the fast-paced 5G SA (standalone) rollout throughout India. After getting to the first million FWA (Fixed-Wireless Access) users in six months, Jio AirFiber added another million in just 100 days.

The next target for Jio in the home broadband space is to add a million users every 30 days, said Mukesh Ambani, at the 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited.
"We are now challenging ourselves to add a million homes every 30 days. With this momentum, we are confident of reaching our target of 100 million home broadband customers at record speed," said Mukesh Ambani.

Along with this, Jio is targeting around 20 million small and medium businesses in addition to 1.5 million schools and colleges, over 70,000 hospitals and 1.2 million doctors to connect them to high-speed broadband.
"These institutions are our nation’s backbone, and by connecting them, we are building a stronger, more resilient India," added Mukesh Ambani.
Alongside this, many exciting new additions are coming for Reliance Jio customers. In the last year, Jio added 43 million broadband users. This was possible due to the company's aggressive expansion strategy.
