J:Com Expands Partnership with Plume to Launch New Services in Japan
Japan's cable operator, J:Com (JCom), has expanded its partnership with SaaS platform provider Plume beyond the residential segment, offering new services across Japan. These services include WorkPass, a bespoke solution for very small businesses, and Uprise, which enables property owners and managers to provide turnkey experiences for Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) tenants with seamless connectivity, access controls, and property management tools.

New Services for Small Businesses

The partnership, which began in 2019, now includes the WorkPass solution for very small businesses and Uprise, designed to offer property owners seamless connectivity and management tools for MDU tenants.

Additionally, J:Com has announced that it is broadening its Plume-powered offerings beyond its cable infrastructure to include residential subscribers on its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network.

AI Powering Real-time Network Insights

Plume's Haystack AI-powered platform, which analyses data from over 60 million locations and billions of devices and applications, supports all these services by providing real-time network insights and proactive management.
