It's that time of the year when the flagships from the likes of HTC and Samsung are getting ready to be launched in 3-4 months So it is natural for the specs of these to get leaked multiple times before the launch takes place. Well, the next HTC flagship has just had its specs leaked ahead of its expected launch in March-April 2015.

To start off, HTC will be letting go of the "M" codename for its next generation device. It will be codenamed Hima. The specs of the device have been leaked by @upleaks which is a pretty reliable source for leaks. The device will come with a 5-inch 1080p display like the current generation one and the QHD display will given a miss for the time being.

Under the hood will be an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with four of its Cortex A57 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and four of its Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz. It will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI on top of it. At the rear of the smartphone will be a 20.7-Megapixel camera which will be joined in by a 13.0-Megapixel or a 4-Ultrapixel front camera. It will get Cat.6 LTE for connectivity.

It will draw the juice from a 2,840 mAh battery. The device is believed to be under testing by various carriers in US and it might see a showcase at the CES 2015 before a March-2015 release. And seeing the fact that India is one of the most important markets for HTC, expect it to make its way to us in the first wave of global launch.
